Pure Automotive first opened its doors in 2008 by Virginia Beach natives, Jim and Cheryl Purificacion. Prior to opening their own establishment, Jim, a former US Navy Sea Bee Construction Mechanic, worked at a local Virginia Beach Honda Dealership for 19 years. He worked as an Auto Technician and Team Leader and later achieved the Honda Platinum II Level Technician Training Status. Jim has always had a love for problem-solving and repairing vehicles and truly enjoys taking the time to educate every customer who enters their establishment. Jim was also a volunteer in Virginia Beach for the Vocational Technical Schools AYES (Automotive Youth Educational System) program mentoring high school students aspiring to be automotive technicians. Jim and Cheryl’s goal is to continue to give back to the local community by educating and repairing every vehicle that enters their doors with transparency, precision, and care.
